Stay Bent officially launched in 2018, but the idea had been brewing for several years. During my frequent solo fishing trips, I discovered solace after grueling 24-hour shifts on the ambulance. However, I couldn't shake the feeling of disconnection within the local fishing community. There was a noticeable absence of community events, knowledge-sharing, and apparel tailored for everyday anglers like myself. This realization fueled my passion to bridge this gap, leading to the creation of Stay Bent Anglers and the Fish Your City Movement. Our mission remains centered on fostering camaraderie and shared values through both concepts and clothing. We invite you to find sanctuary in our movement as we strive to unite anglers and enrich our shared experiences.-John Sanchez
